An Acknowledgement of Thanks to Patrick Larkin
We would like to express - on behalf of our family and ourselves - our sincere gratitude to Patrick Larkin Funeral Director and Undertaker, Edenerry, Co. Offaly, and his staff , for their outstanding professionalism and service. It is only right and fitting to acknowledge the first class service provided by Pat Larkin when our husband and father passed away last year, during the extremely inclement weather. From the time he was put on notice of John's death, he became a friend, advisor and businessman, all rolled into one. We placed the entire responsibility of the funeral and its arrangements in his hands. Not only did Pat take care of the standard operational procedures with immense efficiency, he was also highly committed, aware, understanding and reassuring of both our emotional and physical needs. Along with all of this, the extremely respectful and dignified way in which John's remains were treated, could not go unnoticed. No question or request was too much trouble to be answered or carried out, and his efforts could certainly never be found wanting. All mourners were greeeted with a sympathic and courteous smile by Pat and all his staff, all of whom went beyond their call of duty to ensure a faultless funeral. The afters of the funeral were no less exceptional. There was a beautiful array and abundance of tasty hot food served up by the most obliging and competent catering staff to all our guests in a very well-heated section of Larkin's Pub Lounge/Restaurant, overlooked by Pat Larkin at all times. Even after the funeral was over, Pat and his staff were readily available to organise the Month's Mind, newspaper acknoweldgements and various other requests. The Larkin family and their local businesses are highly respected through the genarations. Our postitive experience with them is only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak!! Well done Pat, family and all your staff. Keep up the good work. And thank you for being the true professinal and gentleman you are. Kathleen, Sean, and Jacqueline McKeenna, Ballyhagan, Carbury.
